Bathroom walls and floor – Private Work, Benton

This project required John Foley & Son to work in conjunction with J. Fiddlers plumbers of Gosforth turning a bathroom into a shower room. The client had already seen some tiles they liked and we were able to adapt another style to the required finish with the help of Porcelanosa.

The styling of the completed shower room was contemporary and the whole job was carried to completion in just over six working days.

Kitchen - Private Work, Gosforth

John Foley & Son have been involved with this property over a number of years since originally winning the contract to provide tiling work during its construction phase. The house has been continually upgraded and we have continued to undertake further works when required.

Our most recent project was to re-tile the kitchen floor when the home owners returned from holiday to find a leak from a W.C. had caused almost 75m2 of solid oak flooring to be ruined.

The owners decided to replace the flooring with a new tiled finish incorporating under floor heating to certain areas of the downstairs. Upon removal of the original flooring, the base was cleaned/primed and inspected by an engineer prior to the works commencing. The heat mat and leveller were applied and allowed to dry. The tiles were fixed in a brick bond design to the whole area.
